something weird is going on. shouldn't the software show what voltage its picking up in the little box? some of them are showing 0-100% of the voltage, but the rpm is showing a max of 100.
i have counter 2 hooked up to a ignition coil on my v8 engine so shouldnt it read 1 pulse for every 2 revolutions? and my tps voltage was reading a max of 15 and a min of 4. then i started the engine and it went funny and now reads less then 1.
Well I sorted out a few issues, mainly when I set the parameters I just have to save for every change. I can't change a bunch of things and then save. Fair enough. But two issues. I tapped into the fuel rail pressure sensor, what range should I use for the sensor, any idea?
And my rpm is still wacky. The pulses jump all over the place. And the like to sit at what I entered for a max range.

Hello, thats correct you have to save each change at a time. I dont know anyting about your fuel pressures sensor so you need to figure that out. For the RPM you dont have a dedicated rpm signal. most cars with coil packs need a tach adapter unless you have a dedicated rpm sensor. search for MSD tach adapter and set the smart controller for 1 cylinder operation with that.
